THE 2025 GATOR INVITATIONAL IS AN ELITE, LIMITED-FIELD JUNIOR GOLF EVENT HOSTED BY THE COUNTRY CLUB OF JACKSON.

This 54-hole event presents an opportunity for the best junior golfers across the world to compete on a PGA Tour golf course. The event will include a practice round, 3 tournament rounds, complimentary shoe service, meals, tee gifts, and awards.

Eligibility

The Gator Invitational is open to any golfer who is 19 years old or younger and has not yet enrolled in a 2 or 4 year college as of the tournament date.

Format

The Gator is a 54-Hole Championship competed over three days.

Invitations

The Gator Invitational is an elite Junior Golf Championship that has historically attracted players from across the country and globe. We invite you to submit an application for consideration. For 2024, we are excited to announce that the field, outside of committee and sponsor invitations, will be selected exclusively using the new TUGR rankings. A minimum of 80% of field will be selected using these rankings. You can find those rankings at tugr.org. Invitations for the 2024 Gator will be extended following the rankings update on June 19, 2024.

Entry Fee

The entry fee for The Gator is $350 ($325 at acceptance + $25 application fee). Withdrawals received by July 15th will receive a 75% refund. Withdrawals received between July 15-July 25 will receive a 50% refund. All other WDs are non-refundable.

Venue

The Country Club of Jackson is Mississippi’s premier golf and country club. The Dogwood-Azalea course, on which the Gator Invitational will be competed, plays host annually to the PGA Tour’s Sanderson Farms Championship. The course is considered a fair test of golf by PGA players and the greens are consistently rated among the top 5 on tour. While subject to change based upon course conditions at tournament time, the yardages for the event are 7,000-7,400

You will continue to receive additional information as the Championship grows closer. Please note there will be NO access to CCJ facilities for unaccompanied guests prior to Monday, August 5th.

Locker & Shoe Service

Players will be given a personal locker in their appropriate Locker Room. Each player will have a locker with their name on it. Additionally, all players are able to take advantage of Frank “Nitty” Ward’s world-famous shoe cleaning services following completion of play Monday-Thursday.

Caddies, Carts & DISTANCE MEASURING

There are no caddies allowed at Gator Invitational. Players can use a push/pull cart but will need to provide their own. Distance measuring devices measuring ONLY yardage are allowed at The Gator. Slope must be turned off and no GPS equipment is permitted during tournament rounds.

Food & Beverage

Food and beverage will be available for purchase by the players traveling guests. Payment will be available by reciprocal charge (preferred) or credit/debit card. No cash will be accepted.
